In the bible, Jesus (Yehoshua) says some demons can only come out with prayer and fasting. There are some people who call these demons “archons,” or “Jinn,” but the idea is the same. They feed off us like parasites, and we can stop them by repenting of our sin and going through a deliverance. Because fasting is so important to deliverance, before I get into the prayer part, I’ll share this idea of how fasting helps us to understand how demons work and how to fight them.
YHWH’s Creation Is Our Teacher
Our Father created our bodies so complex it has turned atheists into believers, simply because of the Intelligent Design argument for the existence of a creator. If you see a computer on the ground, you don’t think it just happened to form into a computer over time, but you realize that it had a creator. In the same way the human body has programming code built into it in the form of DNA. We know by looking at how complex something is that it necessarily had a creator.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and deity; so that they are without excuse
We see that even though YHWH is invisible, we can get to know Him by looking at the things that are made by Him.
Fasting From Food Parallels Fasting From Sin
Fasting from food is allegorical to fighting sin and demons. When you fast, you start to get hunger pains. When you fast from sin, you start to feel tempted into sin more. This is because parasites and demons work in the same way, so much so that they may very well be connected.
Since our Father tells us that we can see what He is like when we look at the creation, when you see what happens to your body when you fast, there is a spiritual lesson to be learned. When you fast from food, as I said, at first you want to eat because you think your body wants to eat. But these hunger pains and craving may not be from yourself. When you have parasites or Candida overgrowth it can control your mind to make you think you want sugar, or processed foods, because if you eat those, you will feed that bad bacteria or feed the parasites so they can live and multiply. What’s going on is that you’re starving the parasites and bad bacteria off and they don’t like it.
In the same way, when you stop sinning, you are starving the demons off. In a way they feed off of the energy you give them every time you engage in sin. You think it’s your natural tendency to get angry or lust, but it’s really the demons mind controlling you (like parasites do) to get you to engage in sin so that they can live and multiply (or get more spiritual power over you). When you stop eating for a while, the hunger pains go away and your energy increases (because it’s not being spent on digesting your food anymore), and your mind will become clearer. When you stop sinning for a while, the temptations from demons start to go away (Resist the devil and he will flee – James 4:7), and then you can become more spiritually energized from the Father, since you’ve cleared the demons out you will be able to hear from Him much more clearly.
When you fast, your body repairs itself and actually eats away at the bad cells, which is why people are much healthier when they do intermittent fasting, or fasting once a week. Remember the early followers debated on what days of the week to fast, not if they should be fasting. They knew it was important to fast every so often. It’s actually an animal instinct to fast when you’re sick so the body can repair itself, but many animals listen to that instinct better than humans do these days. When you start fasting, the abnormal cells like cancer or even skin cells that are not needed if you’re losing weight, will be “eaten” by your body. It’s called autophagy. In the same way, when you fast from sinning, your spiritual body will start to repair itself.
My Deliverance Story
In 2015, Father woke me up with a dream, and I felt led to write it down. From then on, I started doing His will and praying more, and was honestly trying to figure out what He wanted me to do rather than doing my own will. The demons didn’t like that.
I didn’t know it at the time, but they were scrambling to stop me from doing our Father’s will and praying directly to Him. I learned later on that the motto of Satanism was, “Do what thou wilt” because Satanists do their own will, not our Heavenly Father’s will. So, when you are doing whatever you want to do, like all luke-warm Christians, you are practicing Satanism. But when you turn from your old life and fleshy will to do our Father’s will instead, you are a Christ-follower, doing what he did. The demons really don’t seem to bother you when you’re doing your own will, and that’s why many luke-warm Christians think they don’t have a problem with demons.
Revelation 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, “I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing;” and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
The luke-warm Christians think they can see. But they are blind. And I know what it’s like to be spiritually blinded. Back then, I knew about demons intellectually, but I was so spiritually blinded by them I thought I didn’t need a deliverance, or didn’t think they could have as much influence on my thoughts as they did. I wasn’t blind to the fact that I could have demons oppressing me. I was blinded by them to not believe it and blinded into apathy to not think that I should even try a deliverance. And when I wanted one a deliverance, I thought I had to have someone else do it for me, so I was led to believe that I couldn’t have one if no one else would help me.
So if you’re reading this now and thinking, “I doubt I could be that blind,” or if you’re thinking about putting off reading this, or trying it, remember that that is how the demons operate. Logically, you know you should do a deliverance because it’s easy, you’ll have help from the creator, and the rewards are awesome such as being able to think and see more clear than ever before and not being harassed by demons that keep trying to get you further into sin so they can control you more. But when you’re oppressed by demons, you get apathetic and stupid, basically. They dull you into thinking, “it’s not a big deal,” because they don’t want you getting free from them. I was that stupid for a while. But Father was trying to get me free, pulling me towards Him.
So, Father woke me up with the dream, I started doing His will, and praying to Him, and then things got bad. The demons were losing their grip on me. Because of that, they wanted to get me into more and more sin. They made me obsess over some “symptoms” I had. I started looking them up online, trying to figure out what was wrong with me, and I was starting to become a hypochondriac, looking for symptoms and worrying about diseases. Luckily, someone I knew told me I was making it worse by researching. I realized he was right, and I took a break, it was like an addiction. And it was based in fear. Our Father did not give us a spirit of fear, but I had many. So, I abstained from researching, and I was led by Father to know I needed to do a deliverance at that point. I could tell it was demonic, as I had never been like that before. So I asked someone, and they said, “no.” Once again, I felt like I had nothing I could do, but Father led me to realize that if I asked Him, He would help me.
So I prayed to Him, to help guide me through a deliverance, so I could get free. I didn’t know what I needed to do, but I knew He knew. Even though my brain was clouded by demons and their spiritual blinders, I still heard from our Father loudly enough to get free. So I’ll discuss what I learned here.
Deliverance Guidelines
- Pray for protection for anyone else in the household.
- Forgive everyone, including God and yourself.
- Repent of all sins that you can think of.
- Command demons to flee.
- “Baptize” yourself in a water.
- Stop sinning, praying always to get through each temptation.
1. Praying for Protection
This is one thing I did not do. But someone else in the household had their worst night sleeping and I’m sure the demons left me to harass him. Pray for Father to protect those in the household, including animals. When you command the demons to flee, command them to leave the property and leave the other people there alone. You can command them to go to Jesus’s feet for him to deal with as he will.
2. Forgive Everyone
This may be the most difficult thing to do for some people. You cannot hold on to grudges. Some people may be mad at God because their child died early, or someone they love got seriously injured, and they can’t understand why or how God could “do that to them.” If you have resentment, you won’t be able to be forgiven.
The parable of the unmerciful servant in the book of Matthew shows us that our Father will not grant forgiveness to those who will not forgive others. But He forgives in abundance when we do treat others as we wish to be treated. When Jesus (Yehoshua) died, we’re told he prayed for the people who were killing him to be forgiven, because “They know not what they do.” They’re just as spiritually blind as you. Everyone is spiritually blinded by demons when they believe false doctrines of men, and engage in sin. It just manifests itself in different ways. That’s why we were told it’s very easy to point out the blindness of someone else, but often times very hard to see our own spiritual blindness.
We are told that however we judge others, that’s how we’re going to be judged. So if you are unforgiving of someone else, you’re saying that you don’t want to be forgiven. Because however you treat people, IS how you treat yourself. If you want to be forgiven and set free from the bondage of grudges, then you need to set other people free first. If you have trouble doing this, pray to our Father to guide you and help you forgive others. It helps to “Fake it ’til you make it” also. Just pray for them to be forgiven, with you wanting to be able to forgive them. Imagine you have forgiven them and try to feel how much of a weight has been lifted off your shoulders when you let go of that grudge.
In this video I discuss how not forgiving other people keeps you a slave to their whims. They will continue to be able to “yank your chain” or “push your buttons” until you forgive them and break the ties that bind you to them.
Another thing that helped me to forgive others, was to see things from their perspective. Put yourself in their shoes, and imagine what had to have happened for them to do what they did. They may have been mistreated first, in fact that’s usually very likely. Often times someone will hurt another because they got hurt first and they’re just passing it along. You can see my video on emotions being contagious too. When you realize they’ve been hurt, and that’s why they did what they did, and that they’re spiritually blinded, it’s much easier to forgive them.
You also have to forgive yourself if you’re judging yourself too harshly, and have mercy on yourself. Forgive yourself, God, and others to get rid of that baggage of resentment. You’ll feel much lighter if you do, because it is physically, spiritually, and emotionally heavy to hang on to grudges.
3. Repent of your sins
Because your flesh is not going to want to stop sinning, you will probably not want to remember all your sins when going through the deliverance. I prayed to Father to guide me to everything I needed to repent of. And even then I was led days and weeks later to more things. Just keep praying to remember more things to ask for forgiveness for and repent of, until you can’t think of anything else. Father wants you to be able to get through this, so He might not show you everything at once, so you won’t be overloaded, and can do this gradually.
4. Command demons to flee
For every sin you think of, repent of it, (which means you don’t want to do it again and were really sorry about it), and command that demon to leave. So if you were lying a lot, and repent of lying to people. Command the demons of lying to leave you, the residence, and your family members alone, and go to Jesus (Yehoshua) for him to deal with. You can pray with “in Jesus’s name/authority” too. (See the article “Coming in our Father’s Name & Praying in Jesus’s Name” for more information on how to truly pray in his name and why it’s not necessary to tack on the “in Jesus’s name” unless you mean in his authority.)
Example: “In Jesus’s authority, I command you, demon of lying, to leave me, my residence, and my family and go to Jesus to deal with as he will.”
What name you use, as far as Jesus, Yehoshua, Yeshua, Yahushua, doesn’t matter. I made them leave in the name of “Jesus” when I went through it, and they left. It’s about the character of repentance, and the authority you have when you call upon that name/character.
I discussed this deliverance technique a bit in an older video of mine here:
5. Baptize yourself
Some people prefer baptizing themselves in a lake, or stream, or feel the need to have someone else do it. I think that’s another demonic blinder trying to keep people from just going through with it. Our Father would not say people cannot be saved if they can’t find someone to baptize them. There is an early church document, the Didache, and I don’t know how much I trust the later parts, but they do say you can baptize with poured water if you can’t get to a lake/stream. So, I usually just suggest that people take a shower, and take time to really reflect on turning to YHWH, and away from their sin, and just pray to Him to help them through every temptation. We’re told that’s what He does.
1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
6. Stop sinning
It’s sad that the true gospel of Christ is not known by the majority of Christians. We were led to believe a false “gospel” that kept us slaves to sin. But the true gospel was that Jesus (Yehoshua) freed us from being slaves to sin. When you get washed clean through a deliverance, you are “born again” of Elohim and are a new creation with YHWH’s Holy Spirit inside of you getting you through every temptation. You will probably stumble, and find new sins to stop. It might be difficult at first, especially having to leave loved ones if they’re engaging in sin you don’t want to engage in. But the rewards are amazing. Please see my video on the true gospel of Christ if you haven’t. “The Greatest Trick the Devil Ever Pulled vs. the True Gospel of Christ”
